Toting Your Tools
I just completed an off site project for a local church where I had to build a cabinet around an existing metal structure. Kinda like a built in, but more appropriately a “built around”. More about that project in a future post. My point being that I have been thinking about tool boxes and tool totes a lot. Assembling a tool kit that will cover all your needs when you are away from the shop is one thing but keeping them organized and not banging into one another and dulling those edges is a whole different subject. Regardless, I have had tool totes on my mind.
I saw this tool tote when I was in a local Sears this weekend. Granted if you squint and have had too much eggnog it almost looks like this tool tote has flames on the side, but it just feels like something is missing. Certainly something you made yourself will always have more value to the maker but beyond that it still feels like there is a missing element.
