Hand Tool Olympics

The Hand Tool Olympics are the brainchild of Mike Siemsen and sponsored by the Society of American Period Furniture Makers. Each year at Woodworking in America, Mike and his stalwart team of volunteers run 6 hand tool only events to test your skills.

Everyone is eligible and prizes abound for winners and participants. This is a great opportunity to prove your skills, or give it your first try. The experts running the booth are there to help and if nothing else you get a free lesson in how to perform these fundamental hand tool operations.
