RWW 87 Turning a Shaker Knob

I’m taking a short break from the Queen Anne Table to turn a traditional Shaker knob. One of my fellow Guild members does not have a lathe and I offered to turn a few for him. I figured this would be as good as time as any to shoot a quick video and illustrate the process. Enjoy!

Nice tutorial, Shannon! Can you repeat the names of the finishing products?

Kari they are a great Aussie product from U-beaut finishes. EEE polish was first then Shellawax cream. Great stuff!

Sweet! Now I don’t have to do my video on the knobs! lol. Not to mention, mine look like little bugles instead of Shaker style, :).

Kari, I think it was Tripoli polish and Shellawax Cream. It made a very nice finish, didn’t it?
